Cancer used to be classified as a disease that is more prevalent to the women folk, due largely the high incidence of breast cancer and other types of cancer that has to do with the sex organ, but there is a reversal of the trend today. More men suffer cancer these days than women.

Wood creosote is a different product that is used mainly in pharmaceutical preparations and is not treated in this volume. Coal tar creosote is a brownish-black/yellowish-dark green oily liquid with a characteristic odour that is obtained by the fractional distillation of crude coal tars.
