To this day, I get eczema flare ups, so I’m thankful for my Dermatologist and the ointment that was prescribed to me. Eczema is common among adults and a lot of children get it too. If you or your children have eczema, it’s important that you DON’T scratch, because scratching the area will lead to spreading the infection around. The temptation to scratch is a big one, especially if you’re a child. Believe me, I’ve lived through it. I learned the hard way because I did scratch when I was a kid and ended up having eczema all through out my teenage years. If you or your children have eczema, you should talk to your Lancaster Dermatology Associates about treating eczema, because it really wont go away or get better without treatment.

Reason #5 You have psoriasis. Psoriasis (pronounced “sor-ra-ya-sis”) is a skin disease that causes your skin to become red from inflammation and break out in recurring patches. It’s not contagious.
