Apitherapy and the Medical Use of Honey by Frank Buonanotte
The term Apitherapy refers to the use of bee products, such as honey, for medical purposes. Honey has been used for medicinal purposes for many years as a natural alternative to pharmaceuticals and has been successful in treating a variety of different symptoms from infected wounds to eczema. One particular type of honey known as “Manuka Honey” has been proven to have more healing properties than other types of honey.
