Inflammation is from the Latin word inflammatio, which means to set on fire. Skin inflammation is the reaction of your skin to harmful stimuli such as pathogens, damaged cells, or irritants. Inflammation is actually helpful because it helps get rid of these harmful stimuli and initiates the skin tissue’s healing process. But, Skin inflammation is required for healing skin.

There are two kinds of inflammation:
